'Freak' selected for Virgin Australia's Inflight Entertainment program

Freak has been selected to screen as part of Virgin Australia's Inflight Entertainment program over the next two months and will be available to view on all domestic flights and on international flights to Los Angeles, Abu Dhabi, New Zealand, Samoa and Fiji as one of six films in a Halloween Special, which includes horror, sci-fi, fantasy and both fiction and documentary.

Virgin Australia Chief Customer Officer, Mark Hassell, says: “Australia’s up-and-coming filmmakers are winning plaudits around the world, and we are excited about the opportunity to showcase their talent on board our aircraft.

“The Virgin brand was born in entertainment, so it is only fitting that we work with the best filmmakers in the country to keep our guests entertained on board.”


'Freak' to launch new digital youth network SNACKABLETV

Freak has been selected as the first film to screen on SNACKABLETV, a revolutionary new digital youth network housing the best in bite-sized content.

SNACKABLETV is an entirely new way for young people all over the world to access high quality short-form entertainment for free, without advertisements or subscriptions.

SNACKABLETV is the official Youth and Content Broadcaster for Sydney Festival and hosts content across seven channels – Culture, Film, Gaming, Music, Podcast and Style, and a dedicated hub for today’s news, events and the best of the net, What’s Hot.

SNACKABLETV will be launched internationally on 1 December 2016.

'Freak' in Official Selection at the WOW Film Festival, Australia 2016

Freak has been selected to screen at the 21st WOW (World of Women) Film Festival, a short film festival that promotes and awards the talents of women directors, producers, writers, editors and cinematographers in the Australian film industry and internationally.

The festival runs from 29 April–1 May 2016, and Freak will screen as part of the Scream Queens shorts program on Saturday 30 April at Hoyts Cinema Paris, Sydney.
